The Thirteenth Annual General Meeting of the Institute was held at the Chateau Frontenac, Quebec, on Wednesday, Thursdav and Friday, March lst, 2ad and 3rd, 1911, the President, Dr. Frank D. Adams, in the chair. The attendance was in the neigh bourhood of a hundred and twenty and included the following guestsz - Dr. James Douglas and Dr. A. R. Ledoux, representing the American Institute of Mining Engineers; Mr. F. L. Garrison, representing the Institution of Mining and Metallurgy; Mr. W. R. Ingalls and Dr. J. F. Kemp, representing the Mining and Metallur gical Society of America; Dr. D. T. Day, representing the United States Geological Survey; Mr. G. S. Rice, representing the U. S. Bureau of Mines; Prof. C. H. Richardson, of Syracuse University, Syracuse, n.y.; Dr. H. Ries, of Cornell University, Ithaca, n.y.; Dr. A. C. Lane, of Tufts College, Mass; and Mr. F. L. Nason, of West Haven, Conn.
