Publisher's Synopsis
Excerpt from Cornwall Parish Registers, 1906, Vol. 10: Marriages
It is with no little satisfaction that the Editors welcome Canon Hammond amongst the list of contributors. The prefatory note which he has furnished and the extreme care with which he has extracted the Menheniot Marriages, are such as might be expected from a distinguished scholar.
Hitherto it has been found expedient to present the sub scribers with marriages from a series of eastern and western parishes alternately. In the next volume, to meet the wishes of some who are specially interested in the work, this rule will be relaxed so as to admit of the insertion of the Bodmin Marriages, which have been in hand for some years.
