Der Bau des Rathauses wurde im Jahre 1404 beschlossen und im Jahre 1405. Begonnen. Am 6. Mai 1405 wurde der Grundstein gelegt, im September standen die Außenmauern, im Winter wurden die Standbilder, das Maßwerk an den Fenstern.
