Total cash receipts from farm mrketings in 1951 are now estimated at billion dollars, less than 1 percent above the previous estimate for 1951 published a year ago. Most of the clange is in crop receipts, now revised to billion dollars, and show ing an upward revision of about 1 percent. Increases of about 5 percent in the estimates for both wheat and truck cr0ps account for most of the change. There were smaller upward revisions for barley, sorghum grain, hay, peanuts, and potatoes. The estimate for receipts from livestock and products was increased by only 142 million dollars, and still rounds to billion dollars.
