My story is important to many women trying to enter male-dominated fields. 95% of people working in construction today are men. I reveal the hardships I had to face as a woman trying to find work in the male-oriented construction industry. The story continues with the events in my personal and professional life that have made me who I am today.
There were many people who helped me along my journey, too many to list here. But my family in the United States and Canada are my greatest supporters. I love them all!
That is why I am dedicating this book to all the women fighting for equality in one form or another. And I encourage them all to continue our fight!
