Publisher's Synopsis
This is one of the titles for the Oxford Literacy Web fiction strand for upper Key Stage 2, (Y5 & Y6) designed to fit the National Literacy Strategy. This story for Year 6 is about an escape from Nazi Germany and a child's memory afterwards. Will they be able to keep him secret when he begins to grow wings?; and "War Stories" by Nick Warburton - two stories about children whose lives are changed by war.
