The "New Way" series offers a wide range of stories - traditional and contemporary, humorous and fantastic - to appeal to today's children. The teacher's guide: offers detailed vocabulary lists; describes the phonic element of "Easy Start"; provides word games to consolidate vocabulary; and gives suggestions for oral follow-up work.;The revised teacher's guide provides detailed guidance on how the different components of "New Way" can be used to best effect. It is accompanied by a book of photocopiable worksheets which include assessment tasks linking the core areas of the curriculum.;These revised and repackaged copymasters contain 90 copymasters, plus explanatory notes for the teacher. There are sheets for making games and apparatus, and sheets designed to be complete after reading particular "New Way" books, including the "Easy Start" series. These sheets carry a footnote showing which particular skills are being covered.
