Adam Equinox appears to be just the same after his first adventure in the computer-generated Karazan, but deep down he is much more confident. With the new software from Quentin Quested, Adam tackles school work with fresh resolve...until a sinister new boy, Weevil, arrives at Highgate and jeapordizes Adam's longed-for return to Quested Court for the holidays. When he finally arrives at Q's remote country estate the household is in turmoil, with Q's precious daughter, five-year-old Hannah, missing. Adam finds a note from Hannah explaining that she has gone to Karazan in search of her lost cat, so it lies to Adam, Richard, Ollie, Kenta and Gen to make the perilous journey beyond the outer limits of Karazan, to the hidden stronghold of the evil King Karazeel, and rescue Hannah from imprisonment.
