Publisher's Synopsis
Finn, the spider lover, and his sister Phoebe move into a remote old schoolhouse on the edge of the moors. To Finn's delight, the spider psychologist, the great Dr Clinton, lives in the lair, the local manor house. Then, to his horror, he discovers Dr Clinton killing spiders in a frenzy of dusting and cleaning. Soon Finn too succumbs to the cleaning frenzy and actually tidies his room. Both of them have been trapped by the angry ghost of Lady Withers who ran a Servants' School in the house in Victorian times. Luckily, Phoebe and Dr Clinton's formidable aunt come to the resue and Finn wins through.
