Publisher's Synopsis

.Tramp and his beloved owner Joe have been separated but they are determined to find each other, no matter what it takes. Tramp senses he is not far from home and that he must keep on going despite the freezing weather. But when the police believe he is the cause of a terrible accident in the snow, he is put into an animal shelter for good. Joe hears the story on the news and is sure that the dog is his very own Tramp. It's a race against time to rescue him, but it seems as if Joe is too late for when he gets to the shelter Tramp has gone. Believing his dog has been put to sleep, Joe is utterly heartbroken but in fact Tramp has escaped the shelter and is lying exhausted in the snow in the road where Joe lives. Tramp has finally made it back home and at long last he and Joe are reunited forever. .
