Publisher's Synopsis
As soon as Nicholas and his family recover from the Crunchbag incident (in MY DAD'S GOT AN ALLIGATOR), they are plunged into more turmoil when the elderly father of their fussy neighbour, Mr Tugg, moves in next door. When Mr Tugg senior and Nicholas's granny clap eyes on each other, love blooms. Nicholas's Dad and Mr Tugg junior do not approve, and it's up to Nicholas to help the star-crossed romantics to elope.
