Publisher's Synopsis
The aim of the National Record of Achievement (NRA) is to encourage a common approach to reviewing achievement and planning individual development. Since its introduction, more than five million copies have been issued, with recent research indicating that in excess of 80 per cent of school leavers are given an NRA in their final year of compulsory schooling.;The NRA document has been designed to facilitate and record the processes of reviewing progress and performance, identify and record achievements, and provide a vehicle for planning future training and development. The NRA also aims to facilitate commitment to lifetime learning by formally recognizing and valuing an individual's learning and achievement, motivating individuals to develop their skills further, providing a means of managing their learning, and acting as a summary of achievement.
