This is an anthology of readings for Easter based on the theme of the garden, and leading up to the resurrection hope of Easter. In particular the author looks at two gardens and two Marys - the Garden of Gethsemane and Mary Magdalene; and "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett and the child Mary who finds and enjoys it - and draws from them both the hope that revitalized her own life at a time of sadness.
