Publisher's Synopsis
Romans 12:1-2 says, "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." Then the Apostle Paul goes on to say, "Do not be conformed to this world [with its superficial values and customs], but be TRANSFORMED [maturing spiritually] by the renewal of your MIND [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." Transformation of the mind is similar to repentance, which in it's etymology means to change direction as in, "change one's mind." Having meditation or thinking time allows one the opportunity to not only reflect on God's word and His direction but also on our dreams and goals. It helps us to understand ourselves and the world around us. Thinking time helps us to plan, to process, and to pursue. It grants us a different perspective and allows a more appreciative view of the world and the person whom God chose to form with His own hands. 90 Days Inward is a daily journal that assists the reader as they navigate their own spiritual journey toward God and self.
