Publisher's Synopsis
The Knowledge Management and Intellectual Capital Excellence Awards have been held annually for eight years. This year we received 14 case histories for our consideration. After an initial evaluation of the abstracts and full review of the case histories which made it to the second round, we are pleased to present the nine finalists in this anthology.
Each of these case histories demonstrate innovative and creative examples of knowledge management or intellectual capital implementation, covering a range of applications including using KM to fight criminal organizations inside a public body, complex competence development for teachers, knowledge sharing and knowledge cafes, a platform to digitize systematic literature reviews, KM in an organisation, KM to track value in professional services, considering the power of knowledge in a community funding body, and improving customer experience with knowledge transformation. The case histories this year illustrate a diverse group of ideas from Brazil, Italy, Hungary, Pakistan and Malaysia.
