You 're given a five-letter word for each set of puzzles. By first taking away a letter, and later adding a letter, you'll solve a 4x4 and a 6x6 Word Sudoku puzzle. And you'll discover unexpected words hidden within words!
Here's the twist: Later in the book, once you're warmed up with those easy 4x4 and 6x6 Sudoku puzzles, you'll face the challenge of solving 5x5 puzzles-each spelling out an anagram of the given 5-letter word. These puzzles don't have rectangular boxes inside; following the Sudoku rules is harder. Are you up to this new challenge? ... contains the letters in the word or phrase exactly once. Most of the time, the 300 puzzles in this book are based on words that many of us probably have in our vocabulary. Words may also be common geographical place names and people's names. For harder puzzles, discovering an unknown word is part of the fun! These puzzles don't shy away from obsolete or archaic words.
