This book highlights the author's personal experience of seeing the effects of human suffering, loss, and brokenness from a very real, close, and visible place at Estelle, one of Texas's largest state prisons. As a Christian minister for over fifteen years, Dr. Levi has witnessed many hearts' struggles at various life stages. Yet nothing had prepared him for the raw, intense, and rough fight for the human soul inside the prison and its dark effects in the community.
