The triolet is a very simplistic fixed form of French origin dating as far back as the thirteenth century and has managed to keep itself finding a way to the poet's page throughout the centuries. So it was that He accepted a 30 day challenge to write at least one Triolet a day for 30 days to demonstrate the usefulness of the form in combatting both writer's block and/or a lack of time.
