Rare Book
Very scarce tract of self-defence by presbyterian minister James Lawson, who was tried by the Scottish Assembly and found guilty of enthusiasm, a kind of religious mania, and of being 'defective of common sense'. The enthusiasm was alleged because Lawson refused to take the sacrament. WorldCat lists copies at the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow only.
