"Jim Forchini became a part time winegrower in Northern California while he pursued his professional mechanical engineering career. He left engineering to become a full time winegrower and raise his family in the wine country of California. He and his family built a winery on their vineyard property, which became a successful vineyard and winery operation. After 45 years in the business, and with his wife's health deteriorating, Jim closed the operation.
