Publisher's Synopsis

Excerpt from 1931 Catalog of Rare Water Plants and Water Lilies

Plants listed under this heading are to be planted in sand or soil, both in aquarium and pool. There is nothing hard about growing these plants, just be sure that they get strong light and about two or three hours of sun. We have tested these plants and have found that they will grow without sun, but must have strong direct light.

Anacharis (elodia Densus) - This plant needs little or no description. Every aquarium should be well planted as Anacharis is the leading oxyg'enating plant. Use two bunches to every 10 gallons. Cut No. 1.
