17 is a small book of poems and essays (17 of each) written during the April-May 2020 quarantine. This is a book that feels like the ups and downs that many of us experienced during this time. Some of the stories are uplifting and some of them are tragic. The entire collection will take you on a journey of ranging emotions and ultimately invite you to ponder the gravity of life and the importance of being present to it. This book will remind you to not take your moments for granted and hopefully remind you that wherever you are and whatever you're going through; this too shall pass.
