Dawna Jean Smith has a unique writing style. Dawna grew up in a military family who moved quite a bit in her childhood across the United States. Dawna found that writing poetry as a young child helped her to cope with the unpredictability of her upbringing. Dawna enjoys living with her pet Shiba Inu Chi named Opal. Dawna enjoys writing and using her imagination to create stories with magical illustrations.
