This book greatly expands on a powerful scripture in 2 Peter Chapter 2 Verse 12 which states: "Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed - not only in my presence - but now much more in my absence - continue to work out your Salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good pleasure." This book was created as a down to earth commentary concerning the growth process required to build a meaningful - long term - effective relationship with Christ that leads to a "True Salvation" experience. Sadly I have met hundreds of men and women who "know that they know" they have accepted Christ as their Savior" but they can't understand why it hasn't made a measurable difference in how they have lived their lives. I am trying to help people, through this work to understand, that Jesus Christ is not just the Conductor on the "Let's all go to Heaven Train" and once He punches your ticket - your home free. There's way more to salvation than that.
