This is a collection of 12 classic hymns intended to be used primarily by music therapists providing hospice care and secondarily by musicians in a variety of sacred settings. Each of the hymns are in the public domain. Guitarists will find the melodies very playable with basic chords in the keys of D, G, and A. Each hymn is presented with both the melody notated in treble clef and in tablature and several verses of lyrics. Accomplished performers can embellish the tunes with additional chords and creative strumming patterns. This is a valuable collection of familiar hymns for performers of all ages and abilities.
