Publisher's Synopsis
From the perspective of Islam, the Quran is seen as a divine and perfect work, containing neither errors nor falsehoods. In this book of revelations, in which Allah is described as "Truthful" and "Knower of all things", it is even stated in surah 4, verse 82, that if the Quran had come from anyone other than Allah, those who disobey Him would have found in it "many contradictions".
However, there really are many contradictions in the Quran, essentially of two types. Some are contradictions between what is stated in one verse of the Quran and the opposite stated in another verse. Others are contradictions between what is stated in a verse of the Quran and the reality of the world around us. After spending several years studying the logic and meaning of the Quran's verses, I can now present a list of the 100 greatest contradictions and scientific errors found in this book. Most of these 100 inconsistencies were difficult to find, well hidden within seemingly innocuous phrases. Through this critical work, which focuses on the sacred texts of Islam and not on those who believe in them, I intend to clearly and precisely prove that the Quran is a human work containing glaring errors that should not be present. These are lexical, scientific, narrative, mathematical, dialectical, and historical errors, which therefore concern areas as varied as they are fundamental.
