I learnt to knit as a child and have always been passionate about fashion. After gaining my degree I was lucky enough to enter the world of handknit, professionally. I have been in the industry for over 10 years and have worked for brands including Rowan, Patons, Sirdar and Sublime. I love the hands-on approach that hand knit offers, it's also wonderful to be able to make gifts for loved ones as well as stylish garments for yourself.
I have taken my favourite winter yarns from the Rowan range and designed 10 simple projects. For each project you will find a list of equipment, how much yarn you will need and a clear, simple set of instructions free from the usual knitting jargon that can be terrifying for the beginner! Each pattern helps you learn a brand new technique, so before you know it you will have mastered knitting!
