Notes: With the author's signature on a card laid in at front with a clipped obituary and a photograph of the same.Scarce. Printed in the Greek-inspired typeface of Duncan's own design, the text a lecture on the Greek pastoral poet as a model for the author's own philosophy. Duncan was an eccentric artistic polymath, amongst other things a dancer like his sister Isadora Duncan - he lived a bohemian lifestyle in the heart of Saint-Germain, where he established an Akademia.
