Notes: Hopes was a Bristol artist, who studied at the Slade - he was also a poet, and a member of the Fabian Society.This is early printing by Vivian Ridler, the first incarnation of his Perpetua Press alongside David Bland - before his move to Oxford, where he became Printer to the University.
