Description: FIRST EDITION, 27 plates, the majority colour-printed and with text to facing verso, the latter with (in most cases) the illustration slightly offset, some light handling marks, pp. 11 + Plates, oblong 4to, original mid green cloth, the lettering to upper board and backstrip, and the publisher device to lower board, stamped in a darker shade, a little darkened and lightly handled with some minor marks, the front hinge a little tender, a quirk of the binding (the textblock beyond the endpapers being stapled , and a little strained at that point), the aforementioned staples rusted, bookseller ticket at foot of rear pastedown, good
