Notes: Following Nelson's death at Trafalgar, a number of tributes were hurried into print, including this work, by the otherwise unknown Adam Collingwood, a name presumably supplied by the publisher, with an eye to Nelson's renowned friend and comrade, Admiral Cuthbert Collingwood. Authors of the 'select poetry' include Weeden Butler and Henry James Pye, the poet laureate.
