Description: over 50 pieces of work by Claud Lovat Fraser, printed in various colours on various papers, including original drawings, these coloured by the artist along with some of the printed work, and more than 20 pieces of autograph correspondence to Meynell, many of these with further original drawings, various sizes and formats (with a preponderance of the small), some sheets spotted, but generally in good condition or better

Notes: Everard Meynell was among the children of Alice and Wilfrid Meynell, all of whom continued to burnish the eminence of that name within the book-world. Everard's main profession was as a bookseller, but he was also an author and publisher - the latter sometimes under the banner of his Serendipity Shop, and on one occasion in conjunction with his younger brother Francis at the Nonesuch Press, who in writing his memoirs referred to his sibling as an 'artist manqué'.
