Notes: 4 copies only of this undated edition in ESTC: Bodley, NT; LoC, Washington State. The other edition, printed for John Hawkins, is dated 1739, and is commoner: ESTC call for a half title in the Hawkins edition, but not in this. A large part is taken up with the education of young Ladies, which the author thinks should be a good (and useful) one - but conducted in seclusion. The starting points are the laxity of morals at the present time, and the ever present, horrible prospects of corruption and ruin.
