Notes: A most attractive volume. Scott's signature on the title-page is accompanied by the enigmatic inscription 'Oh Thuthie!', and an ink drawing of the head of a duck. Peter Scott was the son of Captain Scott of Arctic fame, and Shackleton was related to the other famous arctic explorer.
