Notes: A complete set of the Government's anti-strike newspaper, edited by Churchill, who was also chief contributor: together with duplicates of Nos. 4 and 6. And together with a run of the Times newspaper, Nos. 44, 261-44, 270, 3-13th May. The first issue, a couple of days before the Strike, is a regular, heavy, 28 page issue. No. 44, 263 for 5 May is a single foolscap sheet. Also, the single sheet Daily Mirror for May 8. Plus: The British Worker for May 13th - 'Great Strike Terminated'.
