Notes: The author's (or writer's) name appears on the front, identifying him as being from Sulmona, a city and commune of the province of L'Aquila in Abruzzo, famous as the birthplace of Ovid. Ferri's hand is regular and neat, though tiny, with curious curly ascenders and descenders (so that at first glance the text might be in Georgian), and the text is full of contractions.
