Sir William Drummond of Logiealmond (1770?–1828), classical scholar and diplomatist: 'In the latter part of his career Drummond returned to his scholarly interests. He had already published a Review of the Governments of Sparta and Athens in 1795 [sic], and the Satires of Persius, Translated in 1798, which had been well received ...
