Notes: This is, apparently, the editor's copy of the second and final annual run of the Aberdeen Magazine, a mixture of whimsy, politics, literary reviews, &c. Apparently, since although no-one else probably would have been in a position to annotate it as it is, the editor is himself identified, as if by somebody else. The contributions are all anonymous. In the index at the beginning the contributors are almost all identified, as they are again at the end of each article, sometimes with a brief commentary, usually piquant.
