Notes: 'The earliest known of Wilde's published writings' (Mason), a translation of Aristophanes signed Oscar O'F. Wills Wilde, Magdalen College. A manuscript note on the rear fly-leaf refers to the Woodburytypes as the object of interest in the volume, and records it purchase in Dunedin, c. 1950. The Circulating Library label is of W. Westcott, Hobart Town (nowadays Hobart), Tasmania. The binding is rather crude, and may be Australian, or even Tasmanian work.
