Notes: A highly important collection. Although over 800 copies were subscribed for (60 alone for the Highland Society of London, to whom the work is dedicated), this is a very scarce book, not quite as rare as the ESTC entry (Bodleian (2 copies) and Harvard only) implies but still remarkably thin on the ground: COPAC adds the Universities of Glasgow and Edinburgh, WorldCat adds Bangor, UCLA, Penn State and the University of S.
