Notes: 'Limericks by Barker' has been written in pencil at the top, but the 3 sections clearly form a poem, or part of a poem, beginning 'Sometimes I think I'm a lady/ As pure as Sheherazade' and constituting a rejection of the concept of Absolute Love. Undated, but the style of the verse, and the accompanying material would suggest this is from around the time of 'Dialogues, etc.' [with:] A 2-page typed review of Edwin Muir's 'Selected Letters' (Hogarth Press, 1974), with holograph corrections in red ink, signed by Barker in blue ink at foot...more
