Clowes, 1827, with a folding map, pp. vi, 39, [1]: not in COPAC, 2 locations in WorldCat for an 1843 edition. The unfortunate Fitzclarence was one of the illegitimate children of the Duke of Clarence and Dorothy Jordan. He was an army officer - cornet in the prince of Wales's regiment, the 10th hussars, at the age of thirteen - and published a number of works on military matters. 2).
