Description: first edition?, single sheet broadside, (490 x 405 mm), quadruple column, large woodcut vignette of Eagle with motto 'The Union Now & Forever', slightly browned, traces of horizontal and vertical folds, edges chipped in places, occasional very minor marginal foxing.

Notes: A remarkably well-preserved military broadside, with only one other copy recorded, listing the members of the 4th Connecticut Infantry Regiment. Established in Hartford, Conn., in 1861, it fought, among others, alongside Abercrombie's 6th Brigade. In 1862, it became the 1st Connecticut Heavy Artillery. The broadside lists the names of officers and soldiers in all its ten companies, with their place of origin, including Hartford, Middletown, New Haven, Suffield, Wolcottville, Derby and New London.
