Mrs Petty is a famous housewife with a successful TV show. She is also Derek Pettyfer, 50-ish, cultured, and set in his ways. Unbeknown to him, he is being pursued by Kenneth Grocock, who is determined to dig up some dirt on his subject. It is to have cataclysmic consequences for the star.
