Publisher's Synopsis
For legal reasons we couldn't put the word \"bus\" in the title of this book and so have, after a gap of many years, added another title in the Wheels Around... series of transport books showing vehicles - on wheels. Obviously I have to be very careful not to use the word 'bus' too much in this blurb so without giving the game too much away let's just say all the photos in this book feature a certain type of road transport used by paying passengers. From 1957 the author roamed far and wide on his own to photograph, to hell with it, buses and this continued during locum work in the Highlands and on holidays. The photos in the book date from the mid to late 1960s and show the wonderful variety of vehicles operating across the Highlands and Islands at that time.
