Section I reviews each organ system and is cross-referenced to the relevant chapter in section II for full details of the disease, its manifestation, differential diagnosis and clinical management. Every chapter has been extensively reviewed in this new edition, with particular emphasis on making the text more didactic and easier to read. New synopsis sections have been added for all major diseases in section I, so that the key information about the disease can be found at a glance. The text has been reformatted to make it easier for the reader (students in particular) to find their way to a diagnosis and a new page design will further assist this.
