Following these, her more recently written works have all been fascinating and uplifting studies of the Bible. Born in 1924 in Croydon, she graduated at University College, London in 1944 and has been a teacher, a writer, and, for nearly twenty years, the superintendent of her local Sunday School. She is now retired and shares all the joys of the East Sussex countryside with her family and her friends.
