The two fragments of Joyce's novel are printed in French for the first time here, in the translation by Morel and Larbaud subsequently published in full by Adrienne Monnier; they are prefaced my a short letter from Joyce offering them in homage to 'mon ami Lon-Paul Fargue'.Other contributors include Adrienne Monnier, Colette, Max Jacob, Blaise Cendrars, Paul Valry, Tristan Tzara.
