Twenty Four Seven was written by two friends who want their readers to think about retirement early on in life, so that by the time they retire they may still be able to enjoy life. Some of us think about retirement but we really don't take time to prepare for it. We don't think about having financial freedom before retirement, much less having enough saved so we can leisurely travel. Most of us don't have a budget, nor plan a budget, or even stick with one if we did. We may not think about returning back to our home town when we retire; but if we do, we're not financially or emotionally prepared for the transition. We may not be prepared for the strange environment once the move happens as we find family, friends and Church family are no longer around. Beware not to settle into a lonely routine as you may find you don't know anyone because life issues happened while you were gone to where most people you knew back when have moved away or passed on. Twenty-Four Seven talks about three stages of life and the importance of building relationships, especially new ones. It's a page turner for some, but good insights to think about and act upon for most.
