Publisher's Synopsis
Dr Charles A. Rockwood, Jr, performs seven difficult operations on full-colour VHS videotape. Each of the tapes in "Surgery of the Shoulder" presents a single procedure, giving the viewer an over-the-shoulder view of the core of today's best method of surgical management. Surgeons faced with a challenging operation they don't perform every day should find this a valuable way to review the procedure, brush up on technique, and acquaint themselves with potential surgical complications.;Each procedure has its own tape, eliminating fast-forwarding or rewinding to find the specific procedure needed. Each tape presents its procedure - including a beginning discussion, through the actual procedure, and ending with suturing. The viewer is also able to review all key steps and problem areas within 20 or 30 minutes. Each tape is available separately, and in either US/domestic format (NTSC System) or European format (PAL System).
